So who are some real good taxidermists north of Indianapolis? My go to guy Butch Stoops of Mulberry unexpectedly passed away a few years ago and I’ve tried a couple others since but haven’t been one hundred percent pleased with the work. Note - cost and speed are not nearly as important to me as good looking, long lasting work is.

Not exactly North of Indy, but Dean Stallion in Boonville is worth the drive. I have mounts from 20 years ago that look as good as the mounts from 2 years ago.

I use Hunters Edge taxidermy out of Rolling Prairie, IN.
He does really great work on deer, turkeys and fish.
Pretty sure he is on facebook.
