I was looking for something special to get my wife for our 38th anniversary, tomorrow the 6th. I found a website that said Beryl is traditionally the gift. What the heck is Beryl anyway? Any other suggestions?

I'd take her away for a weekend somewhere nice. Pick an empty weekend on the calendar, make reservations somewhere then tell her the plans on your anniversary.
It seems like I can never pick a good gift that my wife will actually wear or use, but I know what she likes to do and can plan a pretty good trip for her fairly easy.

New bow, new deer rifle, new bird gun.....lots of options. Heck, don't wait until the 50th to go big....go ahead and buy her that new bass boat she's been wanting!!

Any other suggestions? I gave PJ a Winchester 22 lever action one time. I don't remember if it was anniversary or birthday but she does I'm sure. She STILL says it was the best gift she ever got. May be a Beryl inlay of some kind would make it work. |
