Yep, I did. Problem was he hit a five gallon pail which swung his head up to my arm.

Just pick them up by the tail, you can do whatever you want and they can't bite you. I'd pick it up by the tail after I introduced it to either Me. 10/22 or Mr and Mrs. High Standard .22. No worries then about getting bit.

Well my morning opener had to wait, got up this morning to go and there was junk all over the garage. Left the garage door cracked for the cat and a possum found a home. Finally found him in a corner hiding in some boxes. Grabbed him and the sun of a gun bit me in the wrist, then it was on, possum lost. Didn't hurt him but he knew not to be in my garage anymore. Cleaned the garage and picked up. Try again tomorrow. Do tell. Caught a few in my rabbit traps and they long like they could put a hurtin on you with those teeth. How bad he get ya.

Span870, not bad. Was worried more about infection. My daughter is a nurse she looked at it and cleaned and wrapped it. Looking better today even though it kept me from hunting. .

I took a long hike around Spring Mill yesterday. Bumped a couple deer. Found a few decent looking spots for the reduction hunt. Tripped on a log and ripped my pants.

Are there public spots for the reduction hunt season? Wish they had a map, all I seen was text listings.
Out here at Wilbur wright today waiting for a range spot to open up...

I hung my new $19 camera today, checked one of my others.. does, fawns, turkeys, coons, squirrels, fox.. no antlers.
Shot my .30/06 at 175, 240, and 300 yards at some old paint cans. No misses, so feeling good.

Friday night I saw a doe and two fawns but nothing else. I am staying out of the stand until this heat is gone. I'm not saying its a waste of time but I know those deer move at night with the heat.

I haven't got out yet either, to hot and humid down in southern Indiana. Sadly Bill, I think it may be until Oct until we get a set on these deer. This warm weather is just too much. I will take the AC and College and NFL games during the week until we got cooler temps.

I agree. I tried to shot my compound bow last night and after a few shots I was sweating up a storm. That was enough.
