Do any of you folks have wireless internet if so how do you like it?
I currently have Frontier and I have been have repeated problems with it probably due to old lines and junction boxes.

I have Metronet....it isn't available everywhere because it's based on fiberoptic lines that run up and down the roads under the powerlines. It has been generally super reliable and smoking fast, though there was some spotty service last month but nothing too bad. Everything we have comes through it....phone, TV package, and internet. I like it. One thing nice about good high-spped is that you can run several things at once. Right now, my kids are having one of their noisy Lego play sessions. So that I can concentrate on my typing without stopping to yell at them every five minutes I have my earbuds in and a live Lynyrd Skynyrd concert ( King Biscuit Flour Hour 1975--worth a listen ) playing on youtube while I do other things.

Same Frontier down the road from you. Yes, leaves a lot to be desired. At least its high speed compared to dial up. But we suffer when there's more than one person online. My folks, in SB, are wireless and I never hear any complaints.

I have ATT, it's occasionally a little throttled, but it's generally pretty quick. I do live just outside of town though, I don't know how rural their service is as a whole.

We just moved into our new house where there's no internet available. I moved our Verizon plan to unlimited and we work from hotspots. I worked almost 11 hours from home today and everything ran just fine. This month will be a test to see how we handle usage in the future.

We used to have the Verizon hot spot but the reception slowly got so bad it was as slow as dial up. We switched to Hughes Net. There aren't many options where I live.

It works fine for what we use it for. We get 50g free during off peak hours during the night and morning. I download a couple podcasts in the morning before I leave for work. We don't do any gaming or stream videos. We will watch the occasional youtube video. We saved $10 a month by switching from verizon to hughes net. It's much faster than the verizon hotspot was. We used to get good reception at our house but it started going bad over the winter. They couldn't tell me why so I cancelled it.

I think our bill is around $65 for 20g. There might be some taxes added on.

I had a Verizon hot-spot a couple years because I didn't have any choice other than hughes net. I had a great signal so it was blazing fast, like crazy. But, it was expensive.

Can't get hard wired internet at our place, so we have always struggled. On our 3rd or 4th provider now. Prior to current, we had Hughesnet which was OK, but not very fast and weather caused frequent outages. Now using a system from Fourway out of South Bend. We have a dish on the property that shoots towards a nearby tower bringing internet to the property. It's not perfect, but it's the best we've ever had. Still goes out during thunder storms, etc.

My former renter had Hughes Net for a time. They put up a dish that looks like something from NASA!
