Here's my first attempt at making my own silhouette. All I bought was the paint, got everything else for free.

The dropping color looks a little off but other than that it looks pretty good.

In between doing other things today I got 7 decoys made. 4 sentry and 3 feeders. By time season rolls around I should be able to get a good amount made to go along with the decoys my buddies have so we should be able to put out a decent spread and eat some geese. This will be my first year doing waterfowl !

Just cooked some late season geese. Wrapped in bacon and also smoked breast. Yum!

The decoy looks great my only recommendation would be a little bit darker on the gray you used on the body. It will show up a lot better in the field.

They are really more of a bronze color. Paint the body a dark brown and use some card stock to bend into a semi circle. Take a light brown and stencil the semi circle. Only takes a minute and adds a lot of depth.

Those should work. I have several dozen that are similar that are over 20 years old.
