I did get Bluegrass on 9/5. That's a pretty good haul down there for you. I bet that place looks way different then when I hunted it back in college. That was around 2000. Just little scrub trees and brush then. |

I mapquest the location from where I am, and it's a 4.5 hour trip one way for me . Not sure on the time zone difference would be , but I believe it's a hour a head.

I did get Bluegrass on 9/5. I've been curious how BG works for dove. Do they just mail you a placard to put in your dash or something that shows you're legal? All other draw hunts I've been on e other have a check-in or you atleast check at a gate to show your credentials but with BG just being a smaller FWA with no gates, buildings, etc I've wondered how they control just anyone from parking their truck and hunting where they wanted. Surely COs don't walk around checking everyone the first few days of draws. |
