I'm looking into purchasing my first puppy and hoping to train it to shed hunt. Curious if anyone has followed Jeremy Moore's Dog Bone Hunter program / DVD? Seems like people have had success based on the reviews I've read.

Seems like people have had success based on the reviews I've read. I have his products and they've worked well thus far. You can use any dog with a nose to shed hunt. Labs tend to be favorites but any upland or waterfowl breed ought to do the trick just fine. Personally, I am partial to the versatile upland breeds as they can do it all--feather, fowl, fur, and even sheds. If you would like any info on the versatile breeds or wanna talk huntin dogs, don't hesitate to message me. I live eat and breathe it man, love it more than anything.

I know I need a dog for this. I've never found one, but it doesn't surprise me. I can't seem to find cheeseburger on the menu board. I'm serious.
I'm really a terrible hunter. All I can do is sit and wait.
The guide I had a Crane was really good at spotting deer or parts of them. He would see them, but I had so much trouble until it started to move. He would just about have to put his arms around me and point his arm beside my head in the right direction.
I'm still a big advocate of them wearing cow bells.
