Good guess , but only one was right.
We really liked the engineered hardwood flooring in the den so we decided to do the same in the living room and hallway..
New carpet in the bedrooms and tile in the baths.
Just a little updating..

I'll "enjoy" it once it's done... I could not do this without the help I'm getting. My daughter and her husband will help me move furniture and tear out the carpet them Woodmaster and I will install the flooring.. I'm contracting out my the carpet and tile..

Well ...the flooring is done.. I got a bid of $720 to lay the Luxury Vinyl Tile aka DuraCeramic with me furnishing all the materials. No thanks. Woodmaster and I did it all in a day and a half.. Excellent stuff to work with and it has the appearance and feel of real tile. The larger bath.. The small bath.. with a separate dressing area..

We went with a neutral carpet this time. Knowing we were going to do the engineered hardwood and carpet I got on eBay and bought several Lowes 10% off coupons for less than $12 and then caught Lowes on a 11% off rebate day. We saved a ton of money by doing that and moving the furniture out and ripping up the carpet ourselves. We left the heavy duty pad and nailing strips down and I contacted the carpet guy that does Habitat's carpeting. He did both bedrooms for $225. Of course momma had to have a new bedspread and shams. Hit Macys on a 50% off day and momma had a 15% coupon on top of that. We did a bunch of "saving" so we are happy. The guest bedroom.
