My wife's family is having a family reunion in winimac on July 2nd so we planned a camping trip to tippiecanoe for the 1st,2nd and 3rd. Super excited for a 3 day stay. Anyone else have a camping trip this summer?

I camped for 8 days at a bow shoot in Tennessee a couple of weeks ago. I'm heading to a Michigan bow shoot to camp for another 5 days. In September I will be camping at the Scottsburg IN bow shoot for a couple of days. And in July we are going to the C.R.A teardrop camper gathering at McCormick's Creek State Park. That will be my first time staying there. I'd also like to do a couple of weekends at Clifty Falls State Park this summer. I really enjoy camping in my tool shed on wheels. I will be trying out a new solar power system for it this week. It was cheaper than buying a generator.

We will be down at our camper at lake Monroe from Thursday through Monday. This will be our fifth weekend to camp this year and we have a lot more to go. We camp from April through October every year as much as possible.

We do quite a bit of camping. So far this year I've camped in Alabama, the HNF, and took the family to Brown County S.P. this past weekend. We're going to try to get out several more times between now and deer season.

Hey if you or anyone else on here for that matter can plan a trip to tippiecanoe for the weekend I'll be camping there, which is July 1,2 & 3rd . It would be great to have the chance to meet some of you and hang out for a while. |

It's on my anniversary weekend, but I'll probably get to stop by for a while. I have to check again where it is being held and how long of a drive it would be for me. I really would like to make it at least to visit for most of the day. And yes tippie would be a long drive for a lot of you guys. |

Dove hunting... Supposed to be going to WV over the July holiday weekend for a family visit of the wife's. I was able to get that Friday and Monday off somehow, so it will be a well deserved looong weekend for me, whatever we do.

I took the wife on a one night test run in the camper last night. She has never stayed in a campground before. Everything went well even though we had some torrential rain yesterday. She is already planning another trip on my next weekend off. This picture was taken on US 50 close to walmart in Aurora, IN. That's the worst I've ever seen it there.  The weather was much better today. It was a relaxing trip for both of us.  |
