I don't know. Only one review and I noticed this in the description.
"The infrared motion activated sensor can detect movements in a wide angle and transmit the alerts up to 650 ft. in distance without interference"
Obviously in a lot of places, you are going to have trees, hills, buildings, etc. causing interference. Makes me pretty wary.

Looks like active RFID Sensing technology. With good antenna and battery that about right on distance. Not WIFI.
