In February I decided to upgrade my compound bow. Went to the small Pro Shop I have been going to for several years and bought a new bow WITHOUT shooting it. What an idiot! That shop has 4 or 5 bows in inventory. Dying a slow death like the Field and Stream article thread but I am loyal to a fault. Ended up hating the bow. Cams were terrible. It was loud, too light and the axle to axle length made the bow jumpy. Shame on me. Decided to bite the bullet and admit my mistake. Started doing some research and determined the bow I wanted. Called Bass and Bucks. They had it in all three draw weights. So, road trip. About an hour for me. As they proudly say, they are in the middle of nowhere. Just northeast of Mississinewa lake. The place is incredible. Over 800 bows in inventory. Service was great. They set the bow up with a peep sight and Whisker Biscuit. I shot it several times and brought it home and finished setting it up. It is amazing to me that there is a place like that an hour away from me. They had steady buying/ shopping traffic the entire time I was there. They also sell all archery accessories and guns. Great used bow inventory too. It was a good experience. Oh, and their price on the bow I bought was almost 20% below MSRP
