Does anybody know where the Indiana 2017 spring dates are published, I can't seem to find them.

Do we have turkey contests? I think I ask this question every year. I forget things.

I haven't caught many critters so far this season, 6 opossums and 8 coons, but I'm going to think that this effort is going to let at least one turkey egg hatch that wouldn't have otherwise. I could be wrong, but thinking it makes it easier to drive to the woods everyday.

In spite of what some say I still think our season comes in too late, the only good thing about the late start is I can hunt a couple other states before ours starts.

I'd rather hunt them in June anyway.

I am a dyed in the wool duck hunter however nothing and I mean nothing gets me more excited than hearing a tom answer my call. It doesn't matter when the season opens, it's the challenge that makes it all worth the while.

I'll agree 100% on the gets me excited part but it's hard to get one to gobble when the mating is season is practicaly over.

Crap, just realized I won't be able to hunt youth weekend because of a state sporting clays tournament...
