I saw on the DNR website that Atterbury has a drawing for waterfowl spots. I am curious if anyone has an opinion on this location. Does it get slammed? Are all the ponds by drawing only? I was down on a Saturday earlier this season and didn't see anyone duck hunting at all.
Also curious if anyone knows the rules of hunting the water just south of Atterbury, Plover Pit I believe it's called.
I tried to call the office today but it was after their hours so anyone help or thoughts are appreciated.

I used to drive through atterbury quite often. I rarely saw people hunting waterfowl on the ponds. Plover pit is part of driftwood, but is still managed by atterbury. If unsure I'd wait to call the office. They probably won't be open again until Tuesday. I have saw guys field goose hunting while I was deer hunting as well, but I'm unsure of all the specifics in regards to waterfowl hunting there.
