I have been drawn for a pheasant hunt on Triplett GBA just outside of Morocco. This will be my 1st pheasant hunt. Any tips? Anyone hunted this area before? Date for the hunt is 12/3

I don't know if it happens all the time or not but we hunted one of those areas this year and We were almost to the end of a walk through ,,I lost site of my partners so I just stopped and was just standing there apparently the birds we had driven to the end couldn't stand it anymore one Flushed I still didn't see Dave or Joe ,So I had to let it fly nice cock bird I yelled rooster and they hollered so I knew where they were .. Still just standing there Another cock bird flushed I-followed it through pulled the trigger on the old Ithaca 16 feather weight BOOM!! Got me a Pheasant !!!!Boo Ya !!!
Saw 6 But moral of the story is Might try stopping and standing once in a while Makes em nervous and they flush

What a GREAT day. I took two friends with me who are experienced pheasant hunters. One of them has a dog. We jumped a total of 15 birds. About 7 Roosters. Came home with 3. Those birds are tough. We dropped another 2 that took off running into the brush when they hit the ground.
