atta boy! We are almost duck hunters except we live in Indiana. Ducks hate Indiana. Goose hunters rule. They don't wear make up like duck hunters do... We lug blinds and decoys by the arm loads out to a muddy corn field. Lay in bags covered in mud and corn stalks. Wait for hours for them to fly then while on a bathroom break they land next to the blind that is wide open. Or a single glides in while we are standing around telling stories. I miss field hunting!

I think you're overdoing it a bit on arm loads don't you. When an old man doubles your four measly bigfoots you're carrying, you're just tagging along. I'm with you though, sure do miss it. Problem is, don't think we could ever get into the birds the old man used to put us on. After hunting with him every where else that's "loaded" with birds is like, that's it???

Not a bird hunter but live close to the Rufuge and the number of ducks and geese flying over my house to Refuge has really picked up past few days

I still have about 100 on the lake every day. See more and more duck/goose hunters fueling up at the gas station on my way to work in the morning.
