Yeah, but I'm working 8 hours Saturday and 12 Sunday so I'm out tonight and not again until at least Monday. Hoping to get done here in Ohio so I can get my daughter on one in Indiana.

I started my 7 day off this morning and I'm waiting to pick my son up from school right now, so that we can hunt this evening.
You could say things are starting to get serious.

Judging by the reports I have read and the temps in Canada I would say they are still up there in Canada however now that I got a deer it's time to hunt ducks. I'll keep everybody posted as to my observations.

This was the kind of day duck hunting stories are written about. At shooting light it was 34 degrees Northwest winds at approx.40+ mph driving sleet low rolling clouds and I am in a very comfortable blind with my back to the wind the only ingredient missing was the ducks. I saw 3 killed 2 and that was it, at least I got rid of Peppy Lapu.

What's up with this? they can and do fly at night. I used to live on a river. It happened several times where I would hear flocks of geese show up over night or show up in the morning and bump birds that were not there the nigjt before.

In pumped! I got a dozen dekes a black lab and a shotgun. And probably a duck call sitting around somewhere. I'm ready to rock and roll.

when they fly all day long then you are getting a few! I will bring the bunny jumper span870 with me. He thinks he can blow a goose call.
