You may remember me as SSG B. In the last few years since I last visited I have been promoted, deployed again and retired from the Army. I am now SFC (R) B I am still (and permanently) living in Colorado Springs. It is a wonderful place to live and just be. I hunt DIY in the Flattops (just got back from 2nd rifle season, no joy) usually. I have been lucky enough to harvest a elk, deer and antelope here in CO, an antelope in WY, a WT in WA, a few deer in TX and some homegrown Hoosier deer. The last couple of years I have also hunted geese with some folks I have been hooked up with through the Wounded Warrior program. I love the mountains and am all about sharing what little I know. Please feel free to PM me any questions you may have about CO. When I come home it is generally to the Warsaw area and I would look forward to sharing a beverage with anyone up there on those occasions. Best of luck this season!!

Yes, welcome back, and thank you for your service!
I can get you in a spring turkey hunt for vets and first-responders if you're home then. Everything is provided, even the out of state license.

I've never been turkey hunting before. That sounds like a hoot. It is a wonderful time and experience. There are a couple nice cabins to stay in, all the food you can eat, stocked catfish ponds, turkey guides for everyone, and the license is provided even if out of state. I can send you information on it in a PM.
