I like to lighten up my bow/crossbow when I am in my stand. I was wondering what you other guys do.
Is your quiver "On or Off" your bow in the stand?

i use a kwik kee quiver and use the tree bracket. It screws into the tree and the quiver attaches to it. keeps it off my bow but handy if i need another arrow quick. h.h.

I'm with DABUTCHER! Mine stays on. More than once I've got a second chance and got an arrow nocked without much movement.

Never put one on my bow. I use a hip quiver. I strap it to the tree once I set up. It's easy to get to if I need a second shot.

Mine has always stayed on, but I'm considering switching to a hip quiver when I get a new bow.

Biggest problem with a hip quiver IMO is walking through brush. My arrows always got beat around and hung on briars. Usually not a problem but alot of times after sitting in stand I will wonder around a bit checking things out. Maybe in big woods where the understory isn't so thick might not be aproblem.
Now I use a quickee quiver and it stays on the bow. I have done it both ways and I just like leaving it on.

I leave it on my crossbow since it doesn't weigh much , and I use a back quiver for my recurve .

I have a Dan Miller over the prod quiver mount with a Bohning Cougar quiver on my Vixen, that I hang up when I'm in a stand.

I leave mine attached to help hide any reflection from my glasses & to work as an additional vibration dampner.
