I bought the 2003 AR 34 when it first came out. After the first season of hunting I found the paint was peeling from the riser. I had all kinds of trouble trying to get a response via email from AR and quickly lost interest in trying to get it fixed when turkey season was coming up.
Well this year I bought a new Switchback and decided I now had time to return the bow while I shot the switchback.
I called AR and talked to a young gal named Jennie. She asked for my bow serial number and of course the first two numbers were smudged off. So she then said just send it to this address with this repair number.
I sent it in and went out on vacation for a week and a half. Well after just two weeks I got a bow back from AR.
It listed the following:
Replaced riser and limbs (they came in a new camo paint than the old ones)
Replaced sting and cables (they replaced them with zebra strings)
They added back my limb savers
Replaced shafts and bushings for cam and wheel.
At the end it said meets factory specs.
What I got back was a new bow with my old cam. The bow looks brand new never fired.
So now I guess I have two new toys and not just one.
I had just gone out and bought a used Howatt X-200 recurve as a backup toy.
Now it looks like I have a backup compound also. The only problem is I have shot my Switchback everytime out since buying it. I have not even found time to put my sights, rest or quiver back on my AR. Heck it's still sitting in the box they shipped back to me.
just thought I would let you guys know what good service I got from the AR team in Tucson.
