So Met's big 8 pointer got me thinking that it would be fun to post up your best trail cam pics, either biggest bucks, neatest photo, whatever. I'll go first with a few of the biggest bucks I've caught on camera. From 2012. I saw this buck a few times during bow season, but never close enough for a shot. Also 2012, same property. I never saw this deer during season. From 2014. I grunted this buck in to 40 yards during bow season, but didn't get a shot. A neighbor killed him during gun season, grossed mid-160's. I did end up killing this critter a couple months after this photo. Identified by an old break in the hind leg.

I just like this one cause I really wanted him. Never did see him in person. This just makes me giggle. I have more, as ive kept ever photo of something other than grass for the last 3 years. Nothing handy on my phone.

I really like to see trail cam photos. I think I'll go check mine. I've been moving them around as I haven't gotten a good photo of my big bucks lately. I'll go check today and feed my turkeys.

I put new batteries in my home camera this late spring to catch the buck groups and checked last night to find my new batteries where dead. I guess I got a bad batch. I was hoping for some new photos. Here's one from this past winter. He is one on my hit list. I've watched him for 3 years. I let him go this past season.

Here are a couple of my favorites: I wound up shooting this buck opening evening of gun season that year while he was chasing a doe. He was on the hillside to the left in the pic. This is a doe that we seen for 5 or 6 years in a row. I had chances at her 3x, but couldn't ever close the deal. We didn't see her last year so we assume she was harvested or died.

Here's an iconic staging area photo. I haven't seen this young buck on the food plot.

Here are a couple of bucks that I really tried too take, spent a lot of time looking for them. Although I had pics of them on camera I never did get to see them during any of the hunting seasons. The first buck I had pics of him 2 years in a row, you can see how much mass he put on in a year. The sec buck I called twisted B for his double twisted brow tines.

missed a shot at this guy still hunting in 2014, it looks like maybe he is still around from pictures this year. That young 2 /12 year old will be come a big monster deer. It looks like 6 o 7 small tines on the one side. Back in 1987 I took a 1.5 year old that was a ten pointer. When checked in the game warden verified and said at the time that deer was a record for a 1.5 year old. I had him taxidermy and I will take a picture and post.
