I've read a lot this last year about the use of High Powered Rifles (30-06, .308, .300, etc) in the regular deer season in Indiana. The 2016-2017 Deer Hunting Guide is now published online and it has nothing in it about such deer hunting equipment changes. So nothing has changed regarding deer caliber changes for this year, right? The big calibers are still illegal and the Pistol Cartridge Rifles from last year are still legal?

New Legal Rifles A new state law allows rifle cartridges that meet the following requirements to be used for deer hunting only on private land during the firearms, youth, reduction zone (in zones where local ordinances allow the use of a firearm), seasons: The rifle must have a barrel length of at least 16 inches The cartridge must have a case length of at least 1.16 inches. The cartridge must fire a bullet with a diameter that is .243 inches (same as 6mm) or .308 inches (same as 7.62 mm). Bullets with a diameter smaller than .243 inches (same as 6mm), larger than .308 inches (same as 7.62 mm) or in between .243 and .308 are not legal. A hunter may not possess more than 10 cartridges for each of these rifles while hunting deer. Full metal jacketed bullets are illegal. www.eregulations.com/indiana/hunting/deer/

The printed version is out in some places, but the website has not been updated for 16/17 yet.

Must not be looking in right spot, 16/17 is online. Scroll up and click on the hunting guide that is at the top of the thread. It's right next to the fishing guide. That is the 2016 one.

No they have not, rifle must fire a bullet that is either .243 or .308, all others are not allowed. Copy of the rules for the "New Legal Rifles" below... Thanks for clarification, should have read closer. Stupid way of writing a caliber regulation, but I'm OK regardless. I've got a .308, a 30-06 and a .300 mag.

How is everything in this list legal when the new reg reads Nothing less than .243 nothing greater than .308 and nothing in between. So if I'm reading right they basically just added .243 and .308 to the legal list.
