I wasn't real sure where to put this but decided there would be more people in the waterfowling area that might have some thoughts and/or dealings with this subject... I'm contemplating putting flotation pods on my 16' Sylvan flatbottom-anyone here ever do that? If so where did you get them from and who did you have mount them on the boat? Any things to look out for? The only problem I would have immediately is what to do with my transom mounted trolling motor that I can see.... Oh yeah-I'd like to stay within a 50-60 mile radius of Lafayette to get this done  TIA! |

Yeah I'd seen those listed at Cabela's but I don't shop there.... Why? run shallower, more stability, boat is tiller steer so even with batteries and fuel tank up front it still squats in the rear... |
