It is close to nashville. Based on my experience there, they could probably find a way to mess up toast. Maybe its gotten better in the last year.

Could always try Kathy's Cafe in Morgantown. Right at the intersection of 252 and 135. A little north of Martinsville in Waverly is The Knuckle Sandwich. Just ate there this morning for breakfast. Great diner and food is delicious.

I have been to Kathy's and it was good. Lots of locals do.
I'm thinking it's at dbd870's house ...unique anyway.

If you want Sunday breakfast at our place you have to book a room for Saturday night. (We're full up this coming weekend, yay). Only had one couple booked this weekend, their wedding weekend, called Saturday afternoon and said they were going to be late; never showed or called again and they had already paid. Maybe left at the alter or it was one heck of a reception party!?

A friend of mine has a wedding hall and rents if for $5K. I asked if that included a room, and he said he'd have to charge them more. I was shocked. I thought it would be about $500. LOL

Yeah we have a 5 bedroom 4200 sq ft house and with parents and kids all gone something had to give. We ended up adding and removing some walls and doors and got the zoning for a 4 room B&B. Opened with 2; got #3 open 2-3 months later and room #4 should be ready in a week or 2. It will be 1 year in September. We booked the 4th room for IU graduation next spring back in May before we had made the first plan for it so we had to get it going at some point, we decided to get on it so it would be ready for the fall season in Brown Co.
We have busy and slow times. We know a woman who has one in Nashville and she told us Jan-Mar and July-Aug will be our slow times and that seems to be the case so far; except we did a Valentines package in Feb on that weekend and filled up. When all 3 rooms book we both stay busy during breakfast. We do plate breakfasts (no buffet) and normally serve between 8-10am whenever they want. We do a pretty big breakfast start with some kind of fruit and some kind of coffee cake like item; then we will do a meat, cheese and quiche or egg type item. We decided to concentrate on special diets and we can do low carb, gluten free and even vegan. Race weekend was of course an exception to the schedule as they had to get going early. 4 rooms will be interesting.

Sunday brunch at the Moonlite on West Parrish Ave. in Owensboro KY. Everything from scrambled eggs to beef brisket. Starts at 10:00 AM ends at 2:30. We go at least once a month. edited to add....I just reread the original post, I was thinking Nashville Tenn. sorry. It's still a good place for Sunday breakfast.
