It's always encouraging to see the numbers increase, however I wish I could say the same for north central indiana. I was told between mississinewa, salamonie, and roush less than 20 birds were taken. Those numbers are pitiful... Wish thesee facilities could get a plan together and make this a place with decent hunting.

Not the results I was expecting. My experience and a lot of other folks I talked to would lead me to think just the opposite.

I'd say number of birds for us was about average - although we didn't get out much this spring.

About the same in Ohio co. Would say a lot less gobbling this year during the season. But they were hammering in late March and early April. Shot mine this year in Dearborn co at my dads. Just wanted to try somewhere different. Saw a lot of birds there.

Yeah, it seemed like I was hearing them earlier than usual this spring as well.

With all this global warming, I think they're migrating north. LOL
