Well, not trying to brag, just wanted to share with you all my season, been the best ever, started in Georgia, broke the 4 year jinx the first day hunting and able to film my friend also shooting a GA bird. Then Indiana season started with filming the auction winner from the Delta Waterfowl Limited banquet . My nephew filmed his middle son shooting his first bird that youth Sunday morning. I filmed my nephew getting a bird he has been after for four years opening day evening, then Friday filmed my friend Mark from church getting his first bird after 3 years of trying only then to film my great nephew that evening taking his first male bird ( shot a bearded hen year before). Saturday rolls around I am am filming my buddy Ken trying to get his son-in-law Ben his first bird, had them ALL around us on the roost but no one came into to play. Ken and I went back out that evening and on a rainy eve we shot a double with the old 1-2-3 SHOOT scenario. Leads us to Monday evening I am taking Ben out after he gets off work , another rainy eve hunt and we call in from 500 yards a pair of birds and he shoots his first ever bird and on film. Then I take out my son William and we attempt to get him a bird Tuesday/Wednesday with no luck, hens, no toms. Wednesday evening I film my nephews wife and we just cant get in front of a bird going to roost. Bill Harmon rolls in town and we hunt all day Thursday, that afternoon my buddy Ken calls and says there is another tom out in the field, so Bill and I head over and at 10 minutes to 8pm we get that bird to finally make it over to us and Bill breaks our 4 year drought in Indiana by killing a nice bird. Been out a few times after but no luck, might try to get out the last evening with my son William as we have a bird at a property roosting , maybe we can get lucky. Thanks for reading, here are some pics from the season

Judging by the photos it was a great year. it was my best year by far since I started turkey hunting in 2003. Still wished I would have gotten my son a bird, had a one at a property I thought we could get, just schedules didn't work out.
