Today I found some Wild Corndogs growing in their natural habitat. This was real exciting for me as I have never picked fresh corndogs before, but I have no idea how to tell when they are ripe as they tasted horrible no matter how much mustard I put on them

You gotta pick them when they are MUCH smaller and this time try cooking them in hot oil.

On a serious note then dogs are great wind checkers when dried out...... Put one in sip lock bagge and put in the hunting backpack

Pick them when still green, boil for several minutes. They taste a lot like corn on the cob.
