I forgot to add both HAIRY and DOWNY woodpeckers and all the above mentioned have have been coming and going all day sometimes 15-20 birds in the feeder at a time. In addition to the above I also have two Robins nesting on my downspouts.

Had 4 male grosbeaks on the feeder today and thought that was a lot. No buntings yet, but I have had flickers, thrashers, and towhees in the yard so far. White crowned sparrows have also made an appearance. The pheobes are also back nesting above my office window.

This morning it was 40 degrees and the parade of birds was continuing so I decided to put out my humming bird feeder and within minutes there was a male at the feeder. This has been a great year for waterfowl nesting as we have at least 4 goose families with approx.14-17 goslings. We also have a mallard and a wood duck with young. BTW:about a month ago we had an Eastern Towhee that was a first and now we are awaiting the Baltimore Orioles.

Within minutes of the above post we had our first Baltimore Oriole show up and start swinging on the humming bird feeder.

We've had the hummingbird feeder out for a while and have been having regular visits to it. Yesterday an oriole decided to avoid the orange half hanging from the tree and go to the feeder. Not only did it pull out the little insert so it could get to the nectar, it stashed it somewhere so we can't put it back lol.

Most of our birds are cardinals on the black oil sunflower seed feeder. Titmouses hit it too. Right now I have some grosbeaks but they will move on in a day or three. I have out two upside down thistle feeders that are used heavily by the goldfinches with a few chickadees thrown in.
The hanging seed cake draws all kinds of birds but mostly woodpeckers, flickas and the big guy - the pileated woodpecker. He also tears up an old elm tree stump in my yard.
Two hummingbird feeders are out but we've only seen a couple.
There are some other small birds but I'm not a "birder" so I don't know what they are. They do enjoy the feeder and the seed cake.

I have noticed that the woodpeckers and the flickas have been getting a beak full of seed cake and flying off with it. Feeding the nest sitter or babies?

I have seen about 6 Hummingbirds while out turkey hunting. They are after the flowers in the apple tree I was sitting under. So cool to hear their wings.
