Keeping with my tradition to make awesome Sunday morning breakfasts I made the following. I wrapped small bundles of asparagus in maple smoked bacon and then cooked them on the grill. While I was doing the asparagus I fried up some thick cut hickory smoked bacon in a cast iron skillet then in the bacon grease I fried 4 pheasant breast halves filleted off the bone and coated in seasoned flour. In addition to this my wife was making the last of our morel mushrooms and and frying up some of our homemade pierogi that were filled with various fillings to all of this we added eggs over easy orange juice and coffee.
