Recently I had the pleasure to talk with a representitive of the Indiana Christmas Tree Growers Association.....and as usual we got on the topic of deer hunting. Deer damage is a BIG problem with many of these growers, and this representitive said that MANY of their members/growers are ALWAYS looking for ways to reduce the damage. I explained that I frequently communicate with lots of deer hunters through my partisapation on Indiana Hunting.com and asked if he would mind if I posted this info up on the site. His response was ****PLEASE DO!!!!!!!**** www.indianachristmastree.com/Select a county you are interested in and it will bring up a list of growers/members in that county. Most of the growers/members have a e-mail & phone numbers listed and you can feel free to contact via that method. Some members/growers already have hunters in place, but the rep told me that many do not and are always looking for RESPONSIBLE hunters to help them out with their deer problems.

www.basecampleasing.com must of been out drumming up some business after reading this. I seen they were listing a couple X-Mas tree farms in Ohio that were having damage problems. One for $5250 and the other for $7500

"Some members/growers already have hunters in place, but the rep told me that many do not and are always looking for RESPONSIBLE hunters to help them out with their deer problems. "
Guess that aint the case........
We did a pilot program over on "the other site", six people so far has aquired hunting land at no cost from a list of 22 landowners, quite a few have meetings scheduled this weekend.
