Went yesterday evening thinking we would find a bunch. Ended up with only 24. I think someone may have snuck in and got them before us. UUHHHH for me 24 is a bunch.

Went out today and hit it pretty good. Here's what 11 lbs-9 oz look like. It's been hit-n-miss the last week or so. I was finding a few here and there, but today went to a spot I been saving and hit a load. I'm not much of a beer drinker anymore, but dam the Bud Light sure tasted good after hiking up and down the spoil banks today for 3 hours.

I will be checking around 50 acres in Switzerland County on Sunday. There are a lot of hardwood trees tops for the tree harvest 2 years ago. Not sure what I will find with the new light spots get through the woods. I will let you know how many I found.

A lot better today. Found 50 in about half the time it took us to find half that many on Wednesday. Still most all greys with a couple of yellows. It's going to have to rain soon. The tallest one and a baby still in the ground. He's like my little retriever.

28 more last night. They were all old and probably just ones I missed from Sunday. Little concerned there were no fresh ones. We got 2.5 inches of rain last week. I really think that cold snap hurt. I see people are finding good numbers up North and into MI.

82 last night. But I had to look in places I had not looked yet. They were all dry and around Popular Trees. I didn't find anywhere I did this weekend. Not looking good.

We didn't get squat! Drive way was hardly wet. My garden needs rain. Got several things planted and need a shower.

Raining good here all morning. We looked in a little spot that is always good for one or ten yesterday and there was one dried up. Should be good by the end of the weekend.
