My AR-34 is easily as good as any Matthews and I didn`t pay for a "name".

As far as your AR - 34 being as good as any Matthews.............Take the xt challenge brother , then tell me its just the name.

**** 2005 MAJORLY rushed the issue of the Switchback, not having the cable and cam right causing several to "blow".
I took the Switchback challenge, don't like the sponginess in it. Compared it to the Trykon XL that I shoot now. Guess who won my heart?

I'm not a hater, I stated my opinion of what I thought of the Switchback. HOWEVER, I have shot a Mathews LX and did actually like it. A GOOD bow is the ONE that FITS YOU and works for YOU! WHO CARES what others think!

okay folks here goes.bow manufacturers are liars.all new bows shoot equally accurate except for split limbs which some twist, but not all.and split limbs are for cosmetics only, they serve no purpose.whe the bow shooting machine came out, which eliminated human failure,a bow, regardless of brand shoots the same arrow thru the same hole every time, except for split limbs.more important than the bow is the arrow.tuning arrows is much more important than the brand of bow.buying a digital scale to make sure your arrows weigh the exact same grain as one another is way more important than brand of bow.its not the bow that wins archery shoots its the shooter whether he shoots hoyt, martin, pse, mathews, etc.mathews just has the top shooters in their pro staff is all.mathews are no better than hoyt,or pse, etc.in case your wondering i shoot a mathews ultra max.why?it felt best in my hand and i liked the smooth draw and how it locked into place at full draw.ive also own brownings and pse.so as far as who shoots the most accurate bow everybody does as long as its not a split limb model[here come the split limb shooters replies]

I'm with hoosierhuntinful. Are there differences amongsth the bows? Sure, but that's also why Baskin Robbins has 31 flavors. Not everyone is gonna like Butter Pecan ice cream.
I shot a Hoyt bow for 22 years and just made the switch to a Mathews Switchback XT. Why? Because I liked the way it shot better than the Trykon. Do I feel bad for making the change? Not until Hoyt starts paying me to shoot theirs, otherwise, it's all in how I feel.
As a good friend once told me while we were shooting: In most cases, it's the injun, not the arrow.
