I caught this nice female today. It probably is the biggest I have caught. I didn't weigh but she stretched within a few inches of the end of the stretcher. I have had one dig out two traps the past two nights and I believe she was the one doing it. I caught her in flat/blind set combo as I was able to see their pattern a few weeks ago and moved a trap there recently. It is funny that men definitely aren't as smart as women as I have caught six males in dirtholes but the only two females came off of blind/flat sets. That makes eight trapped and one other killed. My goal was ten but I thought that was stretching it. I may make it. 2 to go.

She is a beauty!
I wish I had someone to eat them, but I guess I'll cut them up for bait.

I remember reading an article years ago in one of the outdoor mags. The writer had been a mountain man type for most of his adult life. He said that in the course of time he had eaten most every type of critter, mostly out of necessity. He said that coyote was the only animal that he could not eat. Just tasted too nasty.

I think if someone shot a coyote and it was drt (hunting it) and skinned it out and deboned it and gave me the meat I could make it taste good enough that most would like it

Abandoned or unwanted domesticated animals, after a certain length of time would be turned into hamburger. Food banks and other places that feed homeless people should welcome the extra protein. No arguments from me about it!!

Y'all remember "Soylent Green"? I can almost hear Charlton Heston yelling, "Soylent Green is coyotes, and dogs, and cats!"
