People in the know have expressed on more than one occasion of his gun shops being a front for a lot of other activities.

He stated in the past he was for certain restrictions on firearms. Never was a fan; we can do better than him for a spokesman for the cause. Rumors of criminal involvement have always been there, no idea if it was true or not but he comes off as a bit of a snake so it wouldn't surprise me.

Though i dont live in Indy, Ive seen clips of the news interviewing him after high profile shootings through gun forums. Not exactly the ideal spokesman.

He lived close to me.
The clerk at the local BP didn't like that he would come in to read the paper and get coffee. He would help himself to free refills; they don't have free refills at BP. It never did any good to tell him.
I saw him back into a car once in one of his Corvettes, then drove away. I left his plate information on the car he hit. It was easy to remember Guns1 and Guns2.

He is dead. Do we need negative comments? He lived a few houses down from my best friends dad.

Maybe we can learn from it.

Many of you will witness the posting of my death. My death will not change the way I lived my life. Not many speak openly of their wrong as I do. At one time, I was a very proud and materialistic person. Through much pain, a valuable lesson was learned. If anyone can learn from the error of my ways and avoid the pitfalls that I had to endure, I desire it.
Don't hold back a tongue on my behave to teach someone else.
Power from wealth, politics or given by the state does not make one above the law. We certainly see enough of this. Eyes are upon us all; we teach without words.
Don took his settlement and became a successful business man. Nothing wrong with this, but it doesn't justify wrongful actions against another. Do gifts to the police department put one above the law? I say not.
I'm confident that several here are in positions of power; it doesn't matter how it's obtained. We must not think more of ourselves than we are. No good will come from this.
