Very nice deer, good solid body, plenty of mass. If we're lucky he'll head to Clay County by October.

Anyone have experience with older deer that could offer their input?

I'm gonna say 3 year old deer. Born late 2003. ? By "late" 2003 you mean June, right? Which, if correct would put him at 3 1/2.

I would say 4.5.
Paunch belly, defined brisket .... but the telltale is the length of the body.
Tell ya what, kill him then we will see who is correct.

He's not a 2.5 yo but whether he's 3.5 or 4.5, hard to say. My guess would be 3.5 but purely a guess without looking at the teeth

3.5 or 4.5 or 5.5 - it doesn't matter.
He is a SHOOTER.
