Thank You...and, Yes - the grin does say it all - this was only his second season hunting pretty much on his own without Dad somewhere very nearby to keep tabs on him.

I have discovered that our limit is 4 deer per day due to the processing time it takes. If we get too many I have to call Gene ("dabutcher" on this site) and pay him for his services. But I just hate to pay for my food.

He defnitely helps fill the freezer!!
That's how we get our hunting land, by being there for population control, not big racks. We usually get into a place for 2-3 years and clean up the does and reduce the population as much as we can and then return the land to the trophy hunters with 2-3 more years' growth on those bucks they cherish.
