Bear RDX crossbow for under $1,000 The new BEAR CROSSBOW. Its a tad big and heavy but has some interesting features. Almost overbuilt in some ways. Love the tan. Going to do more shake out with it but 375fps with a 135lb draw with a 400grn arrow for under a grand is not all that bad.  |

At the moment, I'm thinking that I'm going to save until I can get a Horton RDX. Maybe by Sept, I'll get it ...just in time.

Woody, have you thought about using a heavier broadhead with your faster shooting xbow? Not really. I like the 100 grain NAP Spitfires. My arrows fly great and with a 425 grain arrow and at 370 fps I'm getting about 114 foot pounds of energy. Every deer I've killed with a crossbow has been complete pass throughs.. |
