That is a bunch of fine looking bucks,hope you guys in the midwest know how fortunate you are. here in pa with the game commisions hr (herd reduction) it seems most hunters if its brown its down,and dead button bucks dont make big bucks

When ever I'm at check station I always wonder what the hunter is like who killed the trophy I'm admiring ! Is he a weekend warrior, only hunts opening 2 hrs of gun season, never scouts, hasn't shot his gun since he bought it from Walmart 3 years ago.
Or is it someone who hits it hard all season long, was working on the figuring the buck out but couldn't put it together until gun or ML season.
Is it a new hunter who hasn't had the time afield to know he should be out there all year long learning, watching, digesting...
Doesn't matter one way or the other, just something to ponder

the bottom 3 were all taken with a bow, that I can remember for sure, the rest were a mix. A few were from Lake and Porter IN, and Cook IL.
