You guys have koi? That's so cool. I've always wanted a koi pond, but just lots of other stuff ahead in line. I would like koi too but I rent so I just have a large aquarium inside

why not just keep their water warm for them? Like a hot tub Guess I could, but it's 4,100 gallons with a 4200 gph pump and a 4 ft waterfall. Not feeding them is a lot cheaper. 4100 gallins is pretty large how deep are your guys koi ponds seems like you'd need to keep them a pretty deep spot to avoid freezing or do you just keep it aerated ? Gs1 do you keep your waterfall running year round? And if so is it your only aeration or do you use additional?

The pond is 32" deep with an 14" shelf around the edge of the top and bottom to sit flowers on. I have 2 30 gallon barrels that the water runs through that contain 5 layers each of filter material.
