You guys have koi? That's so cool. I've always wanted a koi pond, but just lots of other stuff ahead in line. I would like koi too but I rent so I just have a large aquarium inside |

why not just keep their water warm for them? Like a hot tub Guess I could, but it's 4,100 gallons with a 4200 gph pump and a 4 ft waterfall. Not feeding them is a lot cheaper. 4100 gallins is pretty large how deep are your guys koi ponds seems like you'd need to keep them a pretty deep spot to avoid freezing or do you just keep it aerated ? Gs1 do you keep your waterfall running year round? And if so is it your only aeration or do you use additional? |

The pond is 32" deep with an 14" shelf around the edge of the top and bottom to sit flowers on. I have 2 30 gallon barrels that the water runs through that contain 5 layers each of filter material.  |
