This buck was found dead along HW 61 several years ago during opening weekend of gun season. He had ran around the area I lived and also spent alot of time over in Sunlight. I had seen this deer several times when he was 3.5- 4.5yo as a HUGE 4x4. Then when he hit 5-6yo he produced a 7" drop and G4 on one side but was still the unmistakable big 8 I had seen. This deers G2s are 14" and -its been a few years now- if Im not mistaken grossed 168"

I remember that deer. I actually drove by it the morning that it was found and didn't see it.

ya the owner of Broken Arrow is the guy who found it. that is where i took this picture. the buck I killed last year is actually mounted on the form the droptine was going to be mounted on. last time I was up there it was almost completed.
it was hit just south of sq deal mine rod crossing over into that cattle pasture.
