Running 3 cams right now set up over. Supp. Feed stations located in food plots. Getting on avg. 100 pics a day per site. Of course alot of duplicate pics but I figure I have 10-15 antlerless and 3-5 bucks using each site. Who said deer numbers are down??? Not here there not.

That sounds like you have a pretty good deer location. Where i hunt, I've had at least 3 cameras out for 4 months and I don't have 100 pictures yet with all of them combined!!!

Greetings I have never ever seen a season like this two does up to now this week, they are very few and far between and what i have seen i have had no luck with. should be getting nearer ten a week. If this is global warming it needs to stop, lol Well we have been told we will be shooting through march and although all of us have a bit of experience and seen most deer related things, no one i have spoken to wants to shoot heavily pregnant does in march, including me. i have seven days leave i have to take or loose them so that is one week and a bit i will not be shooting, the rest i will shoot yearlings and young does but that is it. Like in a previous post concerning pregnant does, everyone has there own ideals and everyone is entitled to them. Me i do not like doing it. regards Billy

Hunters are spoiled. The herd is fine. Hunters are crying over numbers, yet hunters are taking 100k a year.

Who are they? Another "management" group? In a brief and un-bias either way description they are are group oriented around the idea that the herd is being decimated or already has, doe harvests are too high and quotas need cut back severely. They feel the DNR is either having their strings pulled or they simply are not honest with hunters and care little for them. They are pushing for county reps that would communicate to the DNR. My personal opinion of some of them I will withhold as would take to long to explain everything.

In theory, the county rep is a good idea. Realistically, it'll never hit expectations.

In theory, the county rep is a good idea. Realistically, it'll never hit expectations. If it passes and happens we shall see. Could be a great thing....could be a terrible thing. However, the DNR has stated many times harvest ratio buck/doe and numbers is the hard numbers they base all off of. Be tough to utilize human opinion or emotions into the equation; how much weight does it deserve? I know I wouldn't want to be one, filtering input from county hunters to me by how dedicated they are, which season, habitat they hunt, pressure surrounding them....as all those things can greatly impact reports.

In fairness they've never claimed 14k members (at least not that I've seen...but I don't see all they say either though)...they claim that as followers (facebook likes) but I get EXACTLY what you mean!

The questions I have are really quite simple....
Is the IDNR interested in having county reps?
What qualifications are necessary for these positions?
Are the individuals qualified for the positions?
Will the county numbers be accurate?
Finally.....Will it serve any genuine purpose?

Will the county numbers be accurate? Finally.....Will it serve any genuine purpose? Qualifications: Be a supporter and member of IWDHM. That is the only one I know of that I think is 100% correct. IDNR I believe is not interested but if so nothing more than window service as again they look at numbers not opinions/emotions for setting any kind of quotas or seasons.

At one point IWHM had over 15,000 likes , members or whatever. Maybe like me several have been banned for standing up to their bullying, or disagreeing with some of their ideas. Think some have simply left because of their. It's my way or highway attitude.

Spend some money and you to can speak at expo. Just say'n. At first I participated in their forum/site. Became apparent pretty quickly that if you didn't agree with their agenda that they berated you, bullied you or simply removed you. They don't speak for me.
