This is my bird from this year. He was my 5th turkey kill. My first two birds were actually hens with 8 inch beards! My third bird was a mature tom and my 4th bird was a jake.
This year's bird weighed 21 pounds, sported a 10 inch beard and had spurs a little better than an inch.
He, like all my other deer and turkey, was killed in Franklin County.
