Fish tastes better than duck................FISH LOVE INDIANA. Woohoo, goose down. I repeat goose down. It has been a few years since I could say that. Not that many birds up here in your neighborhood...hope to take a few more to God's country of southern indiana after tomorrow's hunt :-) Good job! How many came in or was it just a single? Hunting public?

2 small groups. Hunting private pond near hudson lake. No birds to speak of. I think the Feb season has really impacted them in this area. Or maybe changes in farming where fields are disked in...not sure but hardly any birds in comparison to year's past

The only geese we been seeing are the locals that won't deter from their everyday routes. Once in a while you can get a straggler to come in if he got lost from his group. We used to have tons of geese flying around about 5 years ago but the people that used to feed them all the time passed away or moved. They hated us for shooting "their geese" but we loved them for feeding "their geese". They called the DNR on us every year saying we were shooting over our limit but the DNR checked us every time and we were always under our limit. The DNR would even hide down the road waiting for us to shoot to early. So when the people that feed the geese left so did the DNR.

Snow geese, loons, redheads goldeneyes, pintails this week so far. Hunting has been slooooooooow though.. Does anyone know the daily limit or possession limit on mojo decoys? I've seen more of them this year than real ducks and thinking about bagging a limit

At 10am today, on the way to work going down 400n towards Michigan City Walmart, there were at least 300 geese in the corn field. More were in the air with their landing gear down and dumping air.
