Oh man! That is too sweet! Could easily be me! Ironically, I had a BMW R1100GS and that the newer 1200GS...one of the most impressive bikes BMW has built! Nope, not me but I would do that in a heartbeat!

I have several wide trails throughout my wooded property + an open back field. If I harvest a Deer deep in my woods I drag it to where I can drive my Toyota RAV-4, close to it, and haul it up to my garage. Same with a field shot.

Cart and bed of my pickup is what I use, but whatever you have will work in a pinch.

Depends on situation. I have transported them about every way possible except on a motor bike. Front seat of car,in camper, on trailer, four wheeler, back seat, trunk of vw jetta, toyota something, dodge dart,MG miget, truck bed, inside back of a cj5 jeep, hanging from a pole between two guys, carried out on my back, (when I was a lot younger and stronger), floated one down a creek till I could get it to a place I could get it out, luckey it was early archery and water was not to cold or deep. You name it I probably did it. Got to go with the flow and get er dune what ever it takes!

Now that would be something to see parked along the Deer Woods. Back during the 1990 Indiana Deer Season, I shot a nice Doe which was Larger than average, up near Oakland City. I was driving a small Toyota compact lift-back car, for hunting use, at that time; stopped by a check-station and the guy there wondered how I got that sized Deer in such a small car.

Ok Woody, of all those buggies the one that intrigues me the most is the VW Thing! I'd love to see a pic of that. Did you own it?

I may have an old picture of it around here somewhere. Neat vehicle. I think it was designed after the German one that they used in the war. The back seat folded down and that is where the deer went. Even though it was a "convertible" it was warm in the winter because it had a gasoline heater in it. Several of these I wish I still had, especially The Thing and The Land Rover.

'73 Dodge Polara '81 GMC Suburban '03 VW Jetta Wagon (hitch haul - not inside) '15 Ram deer cart plastic sled wooden toboggan wheel barrow Even shot a few out of the house, and just dragged them to the house. When the drag is less than 100' it's pointless to get any equipment out besides the ski rope handle. Meat is meat. There's a few other vehicles that I forgot. Even just dragged one down the snow covered road for about a mile once behind a buddies Yukon. (these are not in any particular order)

Mom told me a story about her coworker and his two teenage boys last weekend. There truck was in the shop getting some work done and dad took the boys hunting with the rental car, Ford Focus. Dad didnt think they would harvest anything, one of the boys shot a 10 pt buck. They threw it on top of the Focus tied it down and drove it home. LOL she showed me the pictures, hilarious!
