Last year my Brother managed to suck my deer hunting "ora" from me It seemed like I could not get a mature buck infront of me for nothing. So many close calls but NO success. I hunted more last year than I have in 10 yrs. Cant say I did not enjoy every minute ;D For my Brother it was a different story. He just had a few days to hunt and he harvested both of these bucks 2 days apart. We were drawn for a Fri-Sat Quota hunt at LBL. He harvested this buck Friday afternoon. We left LBL Saturday night and returned to Indiana to hunt Sunday morning. He harvested the second buck Sunday morning. 146" 10 point (aged at 5 1/2 yrs old) KY, LBL 138" 8 pt (there is 18 inchs of main beam between the G1 and G2) Indiana

It all depends what area you hunt.....we have been very lucky with at least one person in our group of three haresting a mature buck for the last several years. We have hunted most of the areas but now we just hunt one specific area. Amazing what area you can find by watching a Knight & Hale show!
