Very nice pictures. Very nice dog to. Same as mine. Labs rule. Glad you got to have your Daughter out with you, that is one of the "Ultimate" hunting partners. Good score on the Geese.

dec : great pic's ... congrats on your harvest looks like you had a great time ! Our early season opened on Sept 6th but I have been sick and couldn't get out .... One of the older gents in our group scoped out a field that the geese were feeding earlier in the week so we tried it out this morning . Here are some pictures that one of our guys took from today . Sun coming up A couple of shooting stations ... The youngest guy in our group is introducing his 4 yr old son to this game early .... he also got some cool video ( you can see the camera mounted on the fence rail over his left shoulder ) his son left us howling ;D with his commentary of the shots when we reviewed the video later today ;D ;D A truckload of Canada's .... the early season limit in our area is 8 each and 24 possession ... dec : beauty dog pic's as well .... we didn't need the dogs today since we were shooting a clear corn stubble field and every bird was pretty well stoned ... john : ;D ;D ;D labs rule !! ;D ;D ;D we all run Springers now but we have had almost every flavor in the book at one point or another .... we do a lot of upland work so the Springers are ideal .... they also handle waterfowl well , in the field or in the water ... here are some shots of my female " Sally " .... all the guys in our group have Springers that are accomplished retrievers in all kinds of situations ... I've got to admit though .... if you are looking for a dog that will retrieve heavy geese and waterfowl all day long in all kinds of harsh cover , a lab fits the bill ! .... most are real work horses !! .... Springers will die trying ! ;D
