Killed my deer Thursday evening it was an 8 point buck approx. weight 155lbs that looks very much like the one on the opening page banner. Today I ventured out to my duck blind for the first time this season with hopes that this snow we are getting might move what damm few birds we have. I only saw 2 mallards and I was lucky enough to kill both of them. My 2 year old lab made picture perfect retrieves and together we enjoyed a couple hours in the snow on a day that was made for duck hunting. Life is good.

Actually just came in from outside to post that I saw another flock of maybe 100 snows! Never seen them here before. They sound like a sick Canada goose.
