Can anybody give me any information on your experience hunting Austin Bottoms?

There's been so many people hunting there this year that the main trail into the area has been worn down to sloppy mud from all the boots and game carts on the ground. There are so many limb lights in the woods from the directionally challenged that its almost funny. Also thanks to the guy that tied the pink ribbons all over the woods so he could find his tree. Hope you clean those up after the season. Just really sad to see this woods turn into this. It was a great place the first year it was opened up to the public, unfortunately it has been overhunted just like all the rest of the public land around here now.

We're limited to public land as our private areas have all dried up. This year we hunted Hardy for the first time and saw deer every time out and not very many other hunters. We were thinking of checking out Austin Bottoms next year, but maybe not.
