This buck was checked in at 52-pickup in Brookville this morning. Killed on Brookville Lake public ground. I originally posted this in Live from the Stand but Greghopper yelled at me and made me feel bad so I created a new thread.

That's an awesome buck. I bet that property really gets hammered now.

Yeah public spots tend to go in cycles...after a big buck gets taken in a spot or section number it isn't worth hunting for a few years.

best to keep your mouth shut about public land bucks, no check station photos either. =)

Honestly, what are the chances that there would be another buck that lived to that age wandering that property? That's a one in a million public land buck, right there.

Believe you me the property around the lake already gets pounded. This won't hurt it much. I grew up hunting it.

I hunt brookville lake a lot. Killed couple nice bucks off of it, no where near that nice lol, but decent deer. Have to be willing to hike hard though. Brother just killed a big doe from there last night. Bout quarter mile drag back to the truck. That's the part that really sucks lol

My first thought was the Brookville park was a lie to keep people away from his private ground
