My son and I are interested in processing a young deer into sausage for the first time this year. Anyone have a good seasoning mix or kit that they have tried and would recommend? Being 'first-timers" any leads will be much appreciated. Thanks, BOB

I went to the local processor where I had previously tried and loved their summer sausage. I asked if I could buy their recipe. Instead they sold be a bag of their seasoning. Enough for 200lbs of meat and at 1/5 of the cost to have 1 deer processed.
