I have a pretty dandy spot to pick them. I don't eat them but I like giving them out to friends and family

Are these puff balls?
My wife and I picked chanterells and chicken of the woods for the first time this year...very good. I liked chants better than sponges! The c.o.t.w.was interesting, tasted just like chicken texture and all.

Ok thanks. I'd like to find some of that this year as well. I have found them in the past but way too many bugs for me to try it.
